Optimize was founded by Matthew McGrath after more than a decade inside one of Canada's largest banks. He saw firsthand how talented advisors were constrained by rigid systems — and how clients were underserved by firms that treated financial planning, investments, insurance, and tax as separate conversations.
The answer was a firm that brought every dimension of wealth under one roof. Today, Optimize Financial Group operates six integrated businesses from its home in Toronto's restored Bank of Toronto Building. The building's original Corinthian columns, stained glass ceiling, and brass doors have been preserved alongside contemporary workspaces designed for collaboration and focus. It is a place where heritage meets forward-thinking — much like the firm itself.
